Tiivistelmä:

This study investigates the contribution of students with learning difficulties (LD) in a co-invention process where a student team (Grade 6) generated ideas, constructed their own inventions, and evaluated the functionality of the inventions in close collaboration with their team members. In this preliminary analysis, we report on the experiences of three LD students when working in a ‘gel comb’ invention team. According to the interview data, the students viewed the project as beneficial. Two main themes emerged from the preliminary qualitative content analysis: peer- and teacher-supported collective responsibility and the relevance of the invention for shared agency.
